I went to Israel and Egypt (more about that later) via Turkish Airlines out of New York.  I decided to meet my travel companion in New York and figured we could catch a Broadway show or two.  We saw Kinky Boots, starring Wayne Brady.  It was spectacular!

Off we went to Israel.  We flew on Turkish Airlines.  I was amazed at the newer airplane with a plethora of movies, they still used dishes and real silverware! I haven’t seen silverware on an airplane since I flew 1st Class!  We were also allowed to choose our own drinks (alcoholic beverages too)!!  Whaaaat? The crew was super nice.  They fed us several times and allowed us to have as much as we liked to drink.  They even gave us a kit which included, headphones, earplugs, slippers, slipper socks, and a toothbrush and tooth paste.

Lucky us, Turkish Airlines was promoting the movie Batman Vs. Superman.  Our menu was shaped like Batman, and our personal kit had the Superman logo on the front.  They were really promoting the movie as they are one of the sponsors!  In my former career, I had the pleasure of being on the set when they filmed the elaborate commercial for the movie, so seeing ot come to fruition was exciting to me.
