Israel

We landed in Israel at 2pm.  After collecting our luggage, we were off to our hotel in Tel Aviv. We arrived on Saturday, so nearly everything was closed due to the Sabbath. Most places close at sundown Friday and reopen at sundown Saturday.  We stayed at Hotel Cinema there.  Hotel Cinema used to be a movie theater.  It was built in the Brauhaus style, like many of the building sin that area.  They had photos and memorabilia from years past.

After a short nap, we walked around the hotel area.  As we walked around the area,  bars and eateries began to open. I was impressed by how very nice the people were!  Many of the people spoke and waved as we walked by. There were boutiques along the way with really nice fashion forward attire.  We stopped and had dinner at one of the restaurants along the way.  The food was delicious! There were 42 of us in our group.  We had a meet and greet at the hotel where we met our guide, Simon. Off to bed.  We had an early day to see Tel Aviv and Jaffa the next day.
